Shawn Hatosy is an Emmy Award-winning actor, director and writer whose career in television and film has spanned more than three decades. Known for bringing intensity, authenticity and depth to complex characters, Shawn has built an impressive body of work both in front of and behind the camera.
His acclaimed portrayal of Dr. Jack Abbot in The Pitt earned him the 2025 Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series. He returned to the role for the show's second season, earning another Emmy nomination in 2026, and has also stepped behind the camera to direct the series.
