SANDY HEIKKILA
FOUNDER & APPEARANCE AGENT
Sandy is the Founder of Signature Appearances, bringing more than a decade of experience in the convention and personal appearance industry to the company she established in 2026.
Since beginning her career in the industry in 2013, Sandy has built extensive experience in talent representation, appearance bookings, contract negotiations, event coordination, and client relations. Over the years, she has developed strong relationships with talent, agents, managers, convention promoters, and industry partners throughout North America and internationally.
After years of working with FanGeek Agency and other talent and convention agencies, Sandy founded Signature Appearances to create a company centered on personalized representation, strong industry relationships, and hands-on support for both talent and convention partners. Signature Appearances continues to collaborate closely with Luminary Talent (formerly Fangeek Agency), allowing the two independently owned companies to share their experience and resources while maintaining dedicated representation for their respective clients.
As Founder, Sandy oversees the company's talent relationships, appearance negotiations, contracts, convention bookings, promoter relationships, and overall business development. She remains personally involved throughout the entire appearance process—from the initial offer and contract negotiations through event preparation and on-site coordination.
With more than a decade of firsthand experience on the convention circuit, Sandy understands that successful representation goes beyond simply booking an appearance. Her approach is centered on building long-term relationships, protecting the interests of her clients, and ensuring every appearance is handled professionally, efficiently, and with the personal attention that has become the foundation of Signature Appearances.
ANGIE BENDER
TALENT LIAISON
Angie has been working behind the scenes at conventions across North America and Europe since 2013, looking after a wide range of guests and personalities. Her role is to make their convention experience as easy as possible—whether that means navigating a packed schedule, finding lunch or tracking down that all-important cup of coffee.
She’s just as comfortable chatting with excited fans and keeping a busy line running smoothly as she is handling the unexpected or giving a guest a little breathing room when needed. Angie works closely with the talent, their agent and the convention, and values the trust that comes with representing all three.
At the end of the day, her job is to take care of the guest so they can focus on their fans—and that’s exactly where she likes to be
NATHALIE COSTELLO
TALENT LIAISON
Nathalie began working in the convention industry in 2015 as a volunteer and has since built experience in nearly every aspect of conventions and live events, both domestically and internationally. Over the years, she has worked with a diverse range of guests, agents, and convention teams, gaining a well-rounded understanding of the industry from multiple perspectives. Nathalie is known for her adaptability, problem-solving skills, and “can-do, make-it-work” attitude, bringing professionalism and enthusiasm to every event.

Melissa has worked in the convention industry since 2015, bringing years of experience in talent support and event coordination. From working with promoters and managing schedules to assisting with travel, logistics, and on-site needs, she helps ensure every appearance runs smoothly.
Known for her professionalism and personalized approach, Melissa is dedicated to making each convention experience seamless and enjoyable for the talent she supports.

Jacqui Day spent 16 years as the owner of FanGeek, guiding performers and creators through the evolving world of fan engagement and convention appearances. Over her career, she’s managed client events in major cities like Los Angeles, Chicago, Paris, and Melbourne, handling everything from web presence to floor logistics. She’s excited to lend her expertise to the Signature Appearances team and keep bringing great experiences to talent and fans alike.
